Why We do what we do
Serving our neighbors in need
At the Help & Hope Center we offer support through several different ways. Our Client Services work directly with clients seeking aid. Our Food pantry operates a fully functioning grocery store experience. And our Treasures Thrift store sells gently used items at affordable prices!
Treasures Thrift Store
When you choose to donate or shop Treasures Thrift you are directly supporting many programs that meet the needs of families and individuals in your community! All the proceeds from our thrift store sales to directly fund individuals and families with food, clothing, household goods, rent, and utility assistance.
Through generous donors and the food we receive from the Food Bank of the Rockies, the Help & Hope Center has a fully stocked grocery store on site where clients can do their own shopping for food at no cost to them.
Our newly remodeled food bank, “Mela’s Pantry” is named in honor of our founder, Mela Rudolph. It is the cornerstone of our services. When people are facing financial difficulty, receiving a week’s worth of groceries makes a significant difference.
Clients “shop” for the groceries and supplies that they need and want. We provide three meals a day (plus snacks!) for each family member for at least a week. We also supply household supplies, toiletries, diapers, sanitary supplies for women and seniors and even pet food.
Volunteers make a difference
Without our teams of volunteeers it would be impossible to serve the thousands of families and individuals each year seeking assistance. It is through the combined effort of regular people like you that the Help & Hope Center is impacting lives daily!
