In 2025, in Douglas or Elbert County, one household in every 200 will need some form of emergency assistance.
Often this is a bridge to help ends meet during a challenging time. By providing food, utility, rent and other forms of assistance, Help & Hope Center helps to keep our neighbors safe, nourished and in their homes as they chart their path to a more stable future.
In 2023, we provided the following assistance to our community:
JOIN
our mission.
Shop or donate at Treasures Thriftique.
Shop while you make an impact, or donate gently used items to our thift store.
Join our family of volunteers
Join us in our food pantry, at Treasures Thriftique, client services and much more!
Drop-off food
or host a food drive.
Bring food to our donation receiving line or host a food drive to keep the shelves of our food pantry stocked.
Make a year-end gift.
More than 30,000 Douglas and Elbert County residents received our assistance this year, and this number continues to grow. Help us be the bridge that keeps people in their homes and facilitates a path to a better future.
